Wonder

$25.00

Wonder.

Step quietly into a world that recalls the first time you were astonished.

In a world that rushes by, pause.

Breathe.

Let the smallest things – a flower, a bird, a moment – speak to you once again.

With grace and insight, T. H. Gillis invites you on a journey through awe, memory, and the quiet marvels of being alive.

A book of poetry for those who are open to wonder.

All book proceeds will be donated to the Brain & Behavior Research Foundation (BBRF) and Inova Health System's behavioral health unit. Donation instructions will be included with each book order.

I wanted to say how much these reflections connect to the human condition. Your poetry is raw, touching, reflective of our own vulnerability and beautiful at the same time. My 17-year old daughter stole the book and loves it.

Grace

Grace may arrive in elegance,

a sleek and flowing pirouette

with lace-long lines

so dainty and delicate.

But grace may also appear

like a deciduous tree in December

stripped by hostile elements—

leaf-bare.

Nature knows we need no shade in winter.

Grace can be found in both cross and manger.
