Time

What is a minute? A day? An hour?

What is a year?

Terms that only make sense on earth.

Here.

As long as a life may sometimes seem,

it’s hardly noticeable at all

on the cosmic scene.

If I could travel from the other

side of the universe to here,

how long would it take?

And what would you call it?

After all, what is a light-year?
