Peace

Peace may arrive in loud fanfare,

an unexpected heavenly

choir of angels

lighting up the midnight sky.

But peace may also appear

in the silence of snowfall in winter,

a noise-canceling whisper.

God knows we need to slow down.

Peace can be found in both joy and stillness.
